Sheep Crossing is one of the easiest and most family-friendly outdoor stops near Greer. The route starts at a small parking area along the Little Colorado River and follows a paved trail for about five minutes before reaching the old bridge and a good place to play in the water. It’s a short, scenic stop with cool river water in summer and pretty fall color later in the season. There are no restrooms at the trailhead, so plan ahead before you go.
